To be eligible for this annual $500.00 scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

- You must be a Wyoming Resident

- You must have completed your 2nd semester of an AVMA-Accredited veterinary technician program

- You must be enrolled in your 3rd or 4th semester, or you can have graduated and be ready to take the VTNE at the time of your submission

- You must submit the scholarship application on or before May 31st, 2026

The application requires the following documents be provided:

- Proof of Wyoming Residency

- A photo copy of your student ID, transcript of most recent semester completed, and copy of next semester enrollment

- A 500-word typed essay explaining why you should be the recipient of this scholarship

- Program Director's Confirmation letter of student status and acuity

In addition to the $500.00 scholarship, the recipient will be awarded the following:

- Free admission to our Fall Continuing Education Conference in Casper the 2nd weekend of September, including any hotel fees, and an invitation to the Friday Night Executive Board Dinner

- One Student Level Membership to the WyVTA

We will likely ask your permission to be photographed and featured on our website or Facebook page, and you may also be featured in public announcements in the NAVTA Journal if the entry is selected.
